About Wino FOundation

Wino Foundation was founded in 2023 after the Founder, Mungasa Emmanuel Winton Wino Foundation is registered under the name "The god chosen Initiative ltd", it is a community based organisation Child-Centered, Non-Governmental Organization in consultative status with the Uganda Economic and Social behavior. We are registered in Uganda with the URSB Kampala UNDER REG.NO. Believing in the future of indigent children, youths and elderly taking action to reach and meet their needs, is the CORE of our work. Over the years, our programs and interventions, have impacted the lives of over hundreds of indigent beneficiaries, mostly children around the the country in underserved, hard-to-reach communities, from one country in 2023, to over 100 communities around Kampala

Our story

Wino Foundation, was founded and formally registered as a non-profit in 2023; however, our story truly begins many years before with the remarkable life’s work of Mr. Mungasa Emmanuel. Through fundraising, with access to education and livelihood support. Together, we forged a bond that enabled us to care for youth who may have otherwise fallen between the cracks.

Mission

To create an environment where every child survives, Lie above poverty, and becomes an active participant in the socio-economic development irrespective of race, color or gender. through our education, food, livelihood, Healthcare, Advocacy, Shelter and humanitarian Aid programs, We strive to ensure indigent children and poor families succeed in life by providing them with all they need to be successful
